New Delhi : Ono Keiichi, Ambassador of Japan to India and Bhutan, met Akhilesh Yadav, President of India’s Parliamentary Friendship Group for Japan, and held discussions on bilateral relations between the two countries. Samajvadi Party President and MP Lok Sabha Shri Yadav was accmpanied with his wife and MP Lok Sabha Dimple Yadav .
Sharing details of the meeting, Ambassador Ono said the interaction provided an opportunity to exchange views on the current state of India-Japan relations and explore avenues for expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting comes amid growing engagement between India and Japan across a range of sectors, with both countries continuing to explore new opportunities to deepen their strategic partnership and strengthen people-to-people and institutional ties.
