UPSC Declares Final Results of CDS (II) 2025 for Officers Training Academy Courses

New Delhi : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results of the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (II), 2025 for admission to the 124th Short Service Commission (Non-Technical) Course (Men) and the 124th Short Service Commission (Non-Technical) Course (Women) at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, commencing in October 2026.

A total of 483 candidates—including 455 men and 28 women—have been recommended on the basis of the written examination conducted by UPSC and interviews held by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence.

The merit list for the 124th Short Service Commission (Men) Course also includes candidates who had earlier been recommended through the same examination for admission to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, and the Air Force Academy (AFA), Hyderabad.

According to the vacancies notified by the Government, 276 positions are available for the 124th Short Service Commission (Men) Course, while 19 vacancies have been announced for the 124th Short Service Commission (Women) Course.

UPSC clarified that the results of the medical examination have not been taken into account while preparing the merit list. The candidature of all recommended candidates remains provisional, subject to verification of their date of birth and educational qualifications by the Army Headquarters.

Candidates can check the final results on the UPSC website. The Commission has also stated that the marks of candidates will be uploaded within 15 days from the declaration of the final result and will remain available on the website for 30 days. Additionally, non-recommended candidates can access the Disclosure of Scores and Other Details scheme while downloading their marks.
