Delhi LG Taranjit Singh Sandhu Reviews Traders’ Concerns, Reaffirms Focus on Better Urban Governance

New Delhi : Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu held an interaction with representatives of market and traders’ associations from across the national capital to discuss key issues affecting trade and daily life, including unauthorized encroachments, traffic flow, parking management and the Jan Sunwai initiative being conducted by the Delhi Police.

During the meeting, the Lieutenant Governor reiterated the administration’s commitment to resolving these ground-level challenges through strict enforcement, improved urban planning and responsive governance.

He emphasized that preserving the accessibility, aesthetics and vibrancy of Delhi’s markets remains central to the vision of ‘Viksit Dilli’.

The Lieutenant Governor also welcomed regular feedback from traders and assured continued partnership with market associations and other stakeholders to improve civic infrastructure, enhance the ease of doing business and create a more efficient urban environment across Delhi.
