New Delhi : The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the Congress party, on Monday said that its demands have not been met with the resignation of former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Addressing the media, NSUI President Vinod Jakhar outlined the organisation’s key demands, which include a ban on the National Testing Agency (NTA), transparent conduct of examinations across the country, the release of a fixed examination calendar with exams held as scheduled, and the enactment of a stringent law to prevent paper leaks.
Jakhar also alleged that the order to use force against protesting students was given by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Based on that allegation, he claimed that students across the country are now demanding Amit Shah’s resignation.
He further said that the Congress and NSUI stand with the students and would launch a nationwide agitation demanding the resignation of the Home Minister.
