New Delhi: Pralhad Joshi on Sunday assumed charge as the Union Minister of Education at Kartavya Bhavan in New Delhi.
Soon after taking charge, the Education Minister chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the implementation of various schemes and ongoing initiatives of the Ministry of Education. During the meeting, he took stock of the progress of key programmes and reviewed the functioning of both departments under the ministry.
Minister of State for Education, Jayant Chaudhary, also attended the review meeting.
The meeting was attended by the Secretaries of the Department of School Education and Literacy and the Department of Higher Education, along with other senior officials of the Ministry of Education. Discussions focused on the implementation of flagship schemes and the ministry’s ongoing policy initiatives aimed at strengthening the country’s education system.
