New Delhi : Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson in Stockholm, marking a key diplomatic engagement between the two countries. This information is released by Xu Feihong, Chinese Ambassador to India and Spokesperson of Chinese Embassy in India.
According to him during the meeting, Wang Yi emphasised China’s readiness to strengthen exchanges at all levels with Sweden and deepen bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors. He highlighted the importance of leveraging the complementary strengths of both economies to expand mutually beneficial collaboration.
He further stated that enhanced cooperation could help guide China–Sweden relations onto a more stable, sustainable, and constructive path, reinforcing long-term diplomatic and economic ties.
The discussions reflected a shared interest in maintaining open communication channels and promoting steady development in bilateral relations despite global uncertainties.
