Gurugram : The Haryana Government has appointed five Technical Directors to the Boards of the state’s power utilities — Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN), Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN), and Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPN).
The appointments were made through orders issued by Ashima Brar, IAS, Commissioner and Secretary (Energy), Government of Haryana.
According to the orders, Randeep Singh, Chief Engineer from the DHBVN cadre, has been appointed as Technical Director (Full-time) on the Board of UHBVN. Vinod Kumar Agarwal, also a Chief Engineer from the DHBVN cadre, has been appointed as Technical Director on the Board of DHBVN.
Rajiv Kumar, Chief Engineer from the HVPN cadre, has been appointed as Technical Director on the Board of HVPN. Rajneesh Garg, Chief Engineer from the DHBVN cadre, has been assigned the additional responsibility of Technical Director (Full-time) on the Board of HVPN.
Further, Mukesh Chauhan, Chief Engineer from the UHBVN cadre, has been appointed as Technical Director on the Board of DHBVN.
The Energy Department stated that all appointments will take immediate effect. The tenure of the appointed officers will remain valid for one year or until they attain the age of superannuation, whichever is later.
