New Delhi : Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan held discussions with Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman regarding the recent technical and payment-related difficulties faced by students during the CBSE post-result and re-evaluation process.

Following the discussion, it was decided that four Public Sector Banks — State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, and Indian Bank — will support the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in strengthening its payment gateway infrastructure and integrating it with the post-examination services portal.

The banks will help CBSE establish robust payment mechanisms to ensure smooth and timely transactions, resolve payment-related glitches, and facilitate automatic refunds in cases of excess payments.

Shri Dharmendra Pradhan also directed CBSE to undertake a comprehensive overhaul of its payment gateway system to improve efficiency and reliability.

The coordinated initiative involving the Ministry of Finance and Public Sector Banks is expected to ensure seamless digital transactions, enhance payment gateway stability, and provide a smoother experience for students accessing CBSE re-evaluation and related services.
