New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed satisfaction over interacting with the Foreign Ministers and Heads of Delegation of BRICS countries, reaffirming the grouping’s growing importance in advancing cooperation among emerging economies and representing the aspirations of the Global South.
The Prime Minister said BRICS has evolved into a significant platform for strengthening collaboration among developing nations and amplifying their voice in the evolving global order.
Highlighting India’s priorities during its BRICS Chairmanship this year, PM Modi said India would work closely with member nations to strengthen multilateralism, promote sustainable development, enhance economic resilience and build a more inclusive international order.
He reiterated India’s commitment to deepening cooperation within BRICS and advancing the shared interests of emerging economies and the Global South.
