High-Level Iranian Officials Arrive in Islamabad for Meetings, Pakistani Army Chief and Deputy PM Welcome

New Delhi : Reports emerging from Islamabad suggest a series of high-level diplomatic movements coinciding with the expected arrival of U.S. Vice President JD Vance.

According to these reports, a senior Iranian delegation led by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has reached Islamabad for discussions.

The delegation is said to have been received by Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

While details of the engagements remain unconfirmed, Islamabad is being described in some accounts as a focal point for evolving diplomatic interactions involving the United States, Iran, and regional stakeholders. Officials have not issued an official statement outlining the scope or agenda of the meetings
