New Delhi : The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in India has released a statement asserting that while the war may have been initiated by others, Iran will determine the terms for its conclusion.
In its statement, Iran outlined a 10-point framework, claiming that the United States has accepted and found these conditions “workable.”
The key conditions include commitments to non-aggression, continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz, and recognition of its uranium enrichment program. The demands also call for the removal of all primary and secondary sanctions, along with the termination of resolutions imposed by the United Nations Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency Board of Governors.
Additionally, Iran has sought compensation, withdrawal of US combat forces from the region, and a complete cessation of hostilities across all fronts, including conflicts involving resistance groups in Lebanon.
The statement underscores Iran’s firm stance on shaping the pathway toward ending the ongoing conflict.
