New Delhi : The United States Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, shared insights on X from a series of high-level engagements, highlighting growing cooperation between India and the United States across multiple sectors.
He described a recent dinner with Donald Trump as “outstanding,” noting that their discussions focused on the former president’s commitment to global stability, the key achievements of his administration, and the promising future of India–US relations. Gor called the evening memorable, emphasizing that it reflected significant moments unfolding in real time on the global stage.
In addition to this, the ambassador held a meeting with Ben Black, where the two discussed expanding investment partnerships between the United States and India. Their talks centered on boosting infrastructure development, accelerating economic growth, and creating new opportunities for private sector collaboration. Gor praised Black’s leadership, noting his efforts in strengthening bilateral investment ties.
Further strengthening economic cooperation, Gor also met with Howard Lutnick to advance the U.S.–India commercial roadmap. The discussions included plans for a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at linking India’s rapidly growing artificial intelligence capabilities with the American AI ecosystem.
They also reviewed India’s expected strong participation in the upcoming SelectUSA Investment Summit, as well as increasing Indian pharmaceutical investments in the United States.
According to Gor, these initiatives are expected to enhance competition, strengthen supply chains, and further deepen the strategic and economic partnership between the two countries.
