India-Canada Hold NSA-Level Security Dialogue in New Delhi

New Delhi : National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval and Canada’s Senior Diplomatic and International Affairs Advisor David Morrison held the NSA-level India-Canada Security Dialogue in New Delhi on October 6, 2026.

The two sides reviewed bilateral cooperation in the areas of security and law enforcement and agreed to deepen collaboration in tackling terrorism, transnational organised crime and drug trafficking.

India and Canada also agreed to strengthen cooperation on the extradition of criminal offenders and reinforce existing institutional mechanisms for security cooperation.

The two sides further discussed exploring structured dialogues on cybersecurity and economic security, signalling a broader focus on emerging security challenges and bilateral cooperation.
