New Delhi/Atlanta: India’s Ambassador to the United States, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, interacted with members of the Indian diaspora in Atlanta, praising the community for its outstanding contributions across diverse fields and its role in strengthening the strategic partnership between India and the United States.
Sharing his thoughts after the interaction, Ambassador Kwatra described the Indian community in the southeastern United States as vibrant and dynamic, noting that its members continue to excel in business, technology, academia, healthcare, entrepreneurship and other sectors.
He said the achievements of the Indian diaspora are a matter of great pride and have significantly contributed to deepening people-to-people ties between the two nations.
The Ambassador also highlighted that the growing success and engagement of the Indian community serve as a strong pillar of the expanding India–US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership, reinforcing cooperation in economic, technological, educational and cultural spheres.
He reaffirmed the important role played by the Indian diaspora in fostering closer bilateral relations and enhancing the enduring friendship between India and the United States.
