New Delhi : Dr. Satyanjal Pandey, Chargé d’Affaires-designate of India to Pakistan, called on General Dhiraj Seth, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), for a high-level discussion on regional security and strategic developments.
During the meeting, the two reviewed the prevailing regional security environment and exchanged views on evolving geopolitical developments in West Asia, as well as the changing strategic landscape in India’s western neighbourhood.
The discussions also covered a range of issues of strategic importance related to India’s national security, with both sides assessing emerging regional challenges and their potential implications for the country’s security interests.
The interaction underscored the importance of close coordination between India’s diplomatic and defence establishments in addressing evolving geopolitical and security dynamics while safeguarding the nation’s strategic interests.
