New Delhi : Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, C. P. Radhakrishnan, today administered the oath to newly nominated member Harivansh at the Parliament House. Harivansh took the oath in Hindi.
The ceremony was attended by several senior leaders, including Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman; Minister of State for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal; Leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha and Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Chemicals and Fertilizers Jagat Prakash Nadda; and Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Ram Nath Thakur.
Also present on the occasion were Secretary-General of the Rajya Sabha P. C. Mody and other senior officials of the Secretariat.
