Gurugram : Prior to the district-level program held to commemorate Haryana Foundation Day, various competitions showcasing Haryanvi culture were held in schools across the district. Students showcased their creative talents in competitions such as painting, lippan art, sculpture, and Sanjhi art. Nandini Kumari of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Jacobpura, won first place in the painting competition, Madhuri of the same school won second place, and Monita Roy of PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Chakarpur, won third place. Anchal Kumari of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Jacobpura, won first place in lippan art, Shweta of Government Senior Secondary School, Kadipur, won second place, and Sunny Verma of PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Chakarpur, won third place.
Neha of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Jacobpura, won first place, Aamir of Government Senior Secondary School, Nathupur, won second place, and Ajay Kumar of PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Chakarpur, won third place in sculpture. Meanwhile, Komal of PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School Sector-4/7, Nandini of Government Girls Senior Secondary School Jacobpura and Neha of Government Model Sanskriti School Pataudi were honoured by DC Ajay Kumar for securing first, second and third positions respectively in Sanjhi Art.
During the programme, DC Ajay Kumar also honoured Satyawan Sharma, Sanskrit lecturer of Government Senior Secondary School Pachgaon, who played an excellent role in stage management at district level programmes, Mohit Sharma, Chief Warden for his excellent contribution in Civil Defence and Sangeeta, Principal of Government Senior Secondary School Khoh, who helped in the preparation of major programmes organised in the district.
