Bhopal  : Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that from school to the battlefield… today the country is having unprecedented trust in the bravery of its daughters. Be it operations against Naxalites or cross-border terror, today our daughters are becoming the shield of India’s security. He said that Operation Sindoor has also become a symbol of the strength of our Nari Shakti.

Prime Minister Modi participated in Devi Ahilyabai Mahila Sashaktikaran Mahasammelan and launched projects in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Addressing the conference organized in Bhopal on this occasion, he said that we all know how big a role the BSF has played in this operation. A large number of our BSF daughters were handling the front from Jammu to Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat border. They gave a befitting reply to the firing from across the border.

The PM said that from the Command and Control Center to demolishing the enemy posts, the daughters of BSF have shown amazing bravery. Now every citizen of India is saying, the loud voice of 140 crore countrymen is saying that if you fire a bullet, then assume that the bullet will be answered with a shell. He stressed that Operation Sindoor has clearly stated that proxy war through terrorists will not continue, now we will enter homes and kill and whoever helps the terrorists will also have to pay a heavy price for it. This challenge has become the death knell for the terrorists and their masters.

He said that Operation Sindoor is the biggest and most successful operation in the history of India against terrorists. Where the Pakistani army had not even thought of it, our army destroyed the terrorist hideouts. They destroyed them by entering hundreds of kilometers inside.

He said that in Pahalgam, the terrorists have not only shed the blood of Indians, they have also attacked our culture, they have tried to divide our society. The biggest thing is that the terrorists have challenged the women power of India. PM Modi said that India is a country of culture and values. Sindoor is a symbol of women power in our tradition. Hanumanji, who is drenched in devotion to Ram, is also wearing sindoor. We offer sindoor in Shakti Puja and this sindoor has now become a symbol of India’s bravery.

Discussing the development of the country, he said that a large number of women scientists are working in all our major space missions today.

More than 100 women scientists and engineers were involved in the Chandrayaan-3 mission.

PM Modi said that today our government is working following the same mantras of Lokmata Ahilyabai. ‘Nagarik Devo Bhava’ is the mantra of governance today. Our government is making the vision of Women Led Development the axis of development. Women are at the center of every major scheme of the government. Devi Ahilyabai has an inspiring statement. Her sentiment was that whatever we have got is a debt given by the public, which we have to repay.

PM Modi, while recalling the contribution of Mata Ahilyabai, said that Mata Ahilyabai is a symbol of the invaluable contribution of our women power in nation building. He said that I bow down with respect to Mata Ahilyabai ji, who brought such a big change in the society, and pray to her that wherever you are, keep your blessings on us. In those days, she built many ponds to promote water conservation.

He said that today we are also constantly saying Catch The Rain i.e. save every drop of rain water. Devi Ahilyabai ji had told us this work 250-300 years ago. Mata Ahilyabai adopted such an excellent model of governance, in which the poor and the deprived were given the highest priority.

He said that she started many schemes for employment, to increase enterprises. She encouraged agriculture and forest produce based cottage industries and handicrafts. To promote farming, a network of small canals was laid and developed. It is my good fortune that the Kashi where Lokmata Ahilyabai did so much development work, has also given me the opportunity to serve.

He said that today if you go to visit Kashi Vishwanath Mahadev, you will also find the statue of Devi Ahilyabai there. Devi Ahilyabai was a great protector of India’s heritage. When the country’s culture, our temples, our pilgrimage sites were being attacked, Lokmata took the initiative to protect them. She rebuilt many of our temples, our pilgrimage sites across the country, including Kashi Vishwanath.
