New Delhi /New York: Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava, accompanied by the Consul General of India in New York, visited Mount Sinai Hospital and held discussions with its senior management.
During the visit, the hospital showcased its advanced healthcare facilities and successful international collaborations. Discussions also explored existing and potential avenues for strengthening cooperation between India and Mount Sinai in areas including healthcare, medical education, research and innovation.
The visit highlighted opportunities for greater knowledge-sharing and institutional collaboration between India and leading global healthcare institutions.
It also reaffirmed India’s commitment to expanding international partnerships and learning from global centres of excellence to further strengthen the country’s healthcare systems.
