New Delhi: BJP National President Nitin Nabin visited a Brahma Kumaris centre, where he highlighted the importance of spirituality, yoga and knowledge in shaping a positive society and called for greater participation in the nationwide de-addiction campaign.
Speaking to the media, Nitin Nabin said that the Brahma Kumaris centre offers a beautiful confluence of spirituality, yoga and knowledge, and expressed his gratitude for having the opportunity to visit the centre with a noble purpose.
He said that alongside the launch of the “Blood Donation—A Great Donation” campaign, a pledge was also taken to support the de-addiction campaign. Nitin Nabin stressed that India has the world’s largest youth population and said that if the energy of young people is channelled in the right direction, their development will contribute to the progress of both India and society as a whole.
He called upon every youth, every family and every section of Indian society to join the de-addiction campaign. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken the pledge together with the youth, and urged all Indians to make the campaign part of their own personal resolve.
Nitin Nabin said that if India is to realise the vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047, the country will achieve this goal through the strength and potential of its youth. He emphasised the need to protect the younger generation from the curse of addiction so that their energy, talent and capabilities can be fully harnessed in building a better and more prosperous future for the country.
