CM Nayab Singh Saini Says Meeting Provided Clear Roadmap to Strengthen Haryana’s Role in Viksit Bharat
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with all BJP MLAs of Haryana at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, describing the interaction as a pleasant and meaningful engagement on a range of issues related to public service and welfare.
Prime Minister Modi said discussions focused not only on providing the best possible service to the public and devotees, but also on making efforts for public welfare more effective.
Following the meeting, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said the interaction was an important and inspiring occasion for the state. He said Prime Minister Modi provided important directions on Haryana’s development, public service and organisational work.
Saini said the meeting was not merely an organisational interaction but provided a clear roadmap for connecting Haryana more strongly with the national resolve of Viksit Bharat.
Focus on Jan Bhagidari and Village Outreach
The Chief Minister said Jan Bhagidari (public participation) remains a central element of the Prime Minister’s approach and that special emphasis was placed on establishing stronger connections with people at the grassroots level.
Under the proposed outreach programme, 30 to 35 villages in every Assembly constituency will be covered through regular meetings. Teams of around 250 to 300 people will visit villages once a month to conduct cleanliness drives, organise tiffin meetings and interact directly with villagers.
The teams will also discuss local issues with residents and work towards finding solutions.
Saini said BJP workers should remain connected with people not only during normal times but also during crises and social initiatives, describing the party worker as a sevak who stands with the public.
Cleanliness, Environment and Inclusive Outreach
The Chief Minister said Prime Minister Modi placed particular emphasis on service, cleanliness and environmental protection.
He said the Haryana government would celebrate Diwali with poor and needy families and organise cleanliness campaigns. Special programmes would also be undertaken to promote girls’ education.
Farmers to Become ‘Ann Daatas’ as Well as ‘Urja Daatas’
Saini said Haryana would work towards making farmers not only ‘Ann Daatas’ (food providers) but also ‘Urja Daatas’ (energy providers).
Under the PM-KUSUM scheme, solar-powered agricultural pumps would be promoted, while farmers would be encouraged to install solar panels collectively on their field boundaries.
Efforts would also be accelerated to connect more households with solar energy through the PM Surya Ghar scheme, along with promoting EV charging infrastructure.
The Chief Minister said the state would move ahead with new thinking and a new direction in agriculture, in line with the Prime Minister’s guidance.
Natural Farming and Modern Agriculture
The state aims to connect at least 1,000 farmers in every Assembly constituency with natural farming.
Saini said the slogan “Dharti Bachao, Prakritik Kheti Apnao” (Save the Earth, Adopt Natural Farming) would be developed into a mass campaign.
The government would also give special attention to the cleaning and maintenance of canals, strengthen Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) and provide farmers with market and agriculture-related information through digital platforms.
Where there is sufficient need and potential, large agricultural clusters would also be developed.
Skill Development and Youth
The Chief Minister said Prime Minister Modi also stressed the importance of skill development among young people.
Haryana will work to connect its youth with Skill India on a large scale, while further strengthening opportunities in employment, entrepreneurship and skill development.
Saini also said focused efforts would continue to make Gurugram a better city.
He highlighted Haryana’s progress across agriculture, industry, sports, education and skills, saying the state is moving forward rapidly in these sectors.
The Chief Minister said the goal is clear: to pursue the twin objectives of “Viksit Haryana” and “Viksit Bharat” together, with public participation, grassroots engagement and development remaining at the centre of the state’s efforts.
