US Vice President J. D. Vance Leads U.S. Delegation, Arrives in Islamabad for Key Talks with Iran

New Delhi : A high-level delegation from the United States, led by Vice President J. D. Vance, arrived in Islamabad to participate in the ongoing Islamabad Talks. The delegation also includes Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

This information was shared by on ‘X’ by Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister of Pakistan.  The press release stated that the visiting delegation was received at the airport by Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir, and Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi.

Welcoming the U.S. Vice President, Ishaq Dar appreciated the United States’ commitment to promoting regional and global peace and stability. He expressed hope that all parties would engage in constructive dialogue and reiterated Pakistan’s willingness to continue facilitating efforts aimed at achieving a lasting and durable resolution to the conflict.
