US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping Meet After Six Years, Trump Announced Tariff Reduction on China

New Delhi : US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping met after six years. The two met on Thursday in Busan, South Korea. According to international media reports, President Trump announced a tariff reduction on China. He stated that they discussed several topics with China and that a major update on the trade deal would be forthcoming soon. Currently, Trump talked about reducing the tariff on China by 10 percent.

Media reports say that Donald Trump said in his statement, “As you know, I had imposed a 20 percent tariff on China due to fentanyl. However, after listening to their concerns, I have reduced it by 10 percent, effective immediately.”

Trump also stated that among the many important decisions taken after the two leaders’ talks, he had reduced the tariff on China from 57 percent to 47 percent. He also stated that he would visit China in April and sign a trade deal soon. After that Xi Jinping will also come to America.

According to Media news , Trump now vows to resolve the dispute between South Korea and North Korea. Trump said he didn’t realize there were so many issues in the world, and reiterated that he would also “fix” the Russia-Ukraine conflict. He said, “Let’s see what we can do between Seoul and Pyongyang.”
